John talks to Chris and Nigel about discipleship, its distinction and necessity in the process of training men for ministry, and how frequently churches practice a narrow form, rather than all that the Bible encourages us to pursue together.
As deeply committed we are to equipping men for ministry, we each believe that discipleship is a critical foundation to effective ministry training. Discipleship must be the practice of its leaders and something that the whole church understands that it is called to be involved in. We need relationships with other believers that provide spiritual encouragment for the purpose of growth in Christ.
